Creating Blog: Movable Type

After installing Movable Type on CLOUD APPS. Movable Type includes the option to specifically create blogs which are rich in features, but easy to maintain. The following article shows to quickly start a Movable Type blog using the Administrator Dashboard.

First you need to log into your Movable Types

If you are not sure about how to your dashboard. Please click HERE.

Once you have entered your Dashboard, it is time for you to start creating a blog. Please click New on Blog section.

Below you can customize the blog by its name, theme, URL and the blog  root.





Once you have pressed the button Create Blog, a window will be pop up like this below. Now that you have set up the blog root, blog name, blog theme, and the Blog URL, you can not add descriptive content such as the name of the blog, and the description of what the blog is about.


Name * Tennis Blog

Description: Today is the US Open and millions of people come to see the best tennis athletes in the world complete over the US Open tennis trophy.




After you have completed the blog you can now press the button SAVE CHANGES


Finally, you have successfully created a blog! Congratulations!
