Webair Updates VSYS hosting platform

Webair’s VSYS hosting platform has been updated! We are happy to release an updated version of Webair’s VSYS hosting platform.  We have put a lot of testing into this updated platform and we hope that our customers will take advantage of the updated features. Here are some of the highlights of this release of Webair’s VSYS hosting platform:
  • FreeBSD 9.1: FreebSD 9.1 improves on the stability, performance and security of FreeBSD 8.2
  • Apache 2.2.24: Offers a number of security updates and performance improvements
  • MySQL 5.5.31:  Offers a number of security updates as well as performance improvements
  • PHP 5.3.25:  The PHP update includes a number of security fixes from previous versions
  • Improved MySQL Backups: We are excited to offer live backups of both MyISAM tables & InnoDB tables
  • OpenSSH 6: Allows for more complex authentication mechanisms as well as fixes a number of security bugs
  • New and updated packages: We have updated numerous packages based on the updated FreeBSD ports collection
  • Improved One-Click installations: We have updated our integrations and one-click installations of WordPress, Wowza and Magento based on customer feedback
  • Integrated Server Statistics: We are happy to include server statistics on server utilization integrated into our control panel
  • PCI Compliance testing: PCI compliance tests have been ran against our VSYS hosting platform, we offer additional testing and configuration to obtain certification.
